Hi there! And Bună ziua! I'm Dana, and welcome to ROTranslate. I’m just a Romanian who’s made a home away from home in Australia. My roots are in Banat, a place I grew up in and dearly love. I studied Civil Engineering back at the University of Timișoara, which was my first real step into the world of precision and detail – skills that I didn’t know would pave the way for my future career in languages.

Moving to Australia, I dived into the world of translating and interpreting, earning my stripes with a NAATI certification. It’s been a journey of bridging my two worlds: the rich, cultural heritage of Romania and the vibrant, diverse landscape of Australia.

I’ve worked on translations across different fields – health, legal, technical, you name it. It’s been rewarding to help people understand each other better, one document at a time. Through ROTranslate, I aim to keep doing just that, especially for folks from our Romanian community looking to make their mark here or anywhere English is spoken.
